Easy, delicious, hearty, and filling! Not even slightly vegetarian, this recipe is best if you can get a beef roast that hasn’t traveled thousands of miles. It’ll be more delicious!
In a slow cooker:
-a pack of onion soup mix (on the bottom)
-a beef roast
-a can of whole cranberry sauce (pour over the roast)
Cook on low for 8 hours.
When you get home from work, steam some green beans or asparagus.
Remove roast, and wisk in a couple teaspoons of melted butter and flour to thicken the gravy. Oh man.
With a slow cooker, anything that comes out of it at the end of the day will taste good as long as all the flavours make sense. This one is the easiest, most nutritious, yummiest, cheapest, and most convenient!
