This baby is magic! Our routine is coming together, his demeanor is lovely, Patrick is being so supportive, and life is just grand. Being on mom-vacation is pretty neat, too. I’ve never had the opportunity to take a leave from life altogether- but letting someone else dictate what’s on the agenda is quite relaxing.
He sleeps well. All through the night, he stirs every few hours and only stays awake long enough to be peed and switched to my other breast. It’s so great to sleep with him next to me. He naps consistently every couple of hours during the day. Letting him guide everything has made the transition into parenthood relatively smooth.
Truly a lesson in trusting in nature.
