Every year on the summer solstice, Canada celebrates its First Nations. I was lucky enough to spend the sunny day barefoot in the cool grass, eating salmon, and listening to some awesome traditional music (check out Jason Burnstick) at the Snuneymuxw peoples Aboriginal Day in Maffeo Sutton Park. What a blast! Here’s a video of a short conversation with Snuneymuxw Chief Doug White:
