SSVH: December Blabberings

The Sweet and Sour Variety Hour is expecting a few new segments ready to start in the new calendar year. Metaphysical learnings and teachings from Flora the Clarvoyant, and a segment called Librarians on the Radio presented by employees of the Vancouver Island Ragional Library- Nanaimo branch. This week’s show was on the fly. Here it is in 4 parts:

Okay, one more week of Jerry in da Haus at the beginning of the show. In this segment I start the show off with a song I originally heard in the movie Oceans 12. It’s an Italian peice of music that I set as my “wake-up” tune on the cell phone. It was always nice to wake up to. After that there’s some Italian bullshitting, the events, and then the weather. The uber exclusive Lindsay O’Quinn set of songs she sent me in an e-mail once earlier this year. The only SSVH segment of all music this week. Lots of blabbing this week, so enjoy this. (16 mins)

Homage to the Peace Train. Amy Goodman speaks about the media and Tommy Douglas during a Saltspring Forum a year and half ago.(7 mins)

My weekend ayahuasca experience read aloud, voice inflections and all. I end the show with a song by Bad Company called Movin On for my close friend Graham Arnold, who passed away yesterday evening. It’s been a sad few days, but he’s found peace now and I’m happy about that.(19 mins)
