The Sweet and Sour Variety Hour this morning on CHLY 101.7 FM began with music from Victoria B.C. band The Righteous Rainbows of Togetherness who will be playing with Top Men tomorrow at The Queens. After that we heard a little bit-o-disco with new release music from Australia, Ireland, and the United States of America. Marc Emery then gives his perspective about the impending cannabis legalization via an interview by James McClure published on Civilized, and then we hear some mighty fine newly released hip hop and rap. The whole thing ends off with some Algerian beats and audio from a speech made by a 12 year old about Canada’s corrupt banking system. Come for the music, stay for the truth!
