Sucker for melody, rhythm, and harmony

Today has been a day of solemn music (posting podcast of SSVH later, you’ll see.)

THIS ONE just hits me in the gut every time I hear it.

“Alone on the ol’ teal sea. Dissolving who we are. Call out for yesterdays destiny come. We’re on a foreign shore. It was your mark of falling”

And this one. A religious piece, but I’m not afraid. A wise man told me on the weekend that all religions are pointing to the same things anyway. The voices of those women on the harmonies sends chills vibrating through the backs of my legs.
